As a web designer I spent most of my time with websites and galleries searching for inspiration studying the trends and techniques. Some peoples like heavy website designs with loads of images and graphic works, may be flash or HTML/CSS, What ever be that. Some others like minimal designs with great accessibility and readability. I like both type 
but it depends on my mood of browsing.
Sometimes I bookmark the site designs I liked the most/ make screen shots of them and save it in my computer, along with maximum information I got, like the designer, framework etc..
